i know a few companines are selling rtr kits and they all seem like good products but im leaning towards the tc3...it sells for a great price and there are alot of hop ups availiable...its been awhile since i've run electric...been running nitro for the last couple of years but a new track just opened and i've got to get in on the action!.lol...anyway is this car a good choice and what should i add to the car before i race it?...thanks for any info.

If you're set on buying something RTR, the TC3 or Ofna OB4 RTR. Both are nice, but of the two I prefer the Ofna. If you can't get one of those or can't get parts, get the TC3. But either will do nicely.

But if you're going to race, I highly reccomend getting a kit. You get better components, and you don't get stuck with that cheap radio that comes with RTR kits. Plus, you will know how the car goes together so when you break something you will know how to repair it quickly.

there is no best car, it's all opinions.

if you do decide to get the tc3 rtr you might have to get a new ESC. i'm pretty sure it comes with an ESC that has reverse but no reverse disable.

I agree with Cosmo, you should get a kit. you get to pick your own stuff, you know how to replace the broken parts... building it might sound kinda scarey, but if you have any questions or problems along the way you can always make a thread here.
