Hey fellas
Any of you successfully mounted a Novak Super Rooster in a TC3? That ESC seems HUGE and I can't see any plausible way to fit that thing in there with the other electronics. Should I get a more compact ESC...Suggestions?

If you really want a Super Rooster, you could try mounting it on it's side. You should look into LRP's F1 series of reversing ESCs. The top-of-the-line one is similar in price and performance, but is a heck of a lot smaller.

Depends on if you want reverse or not, LRP has a quantam ESC out now that is VERY small, or you could consider a cyclone tc.

A Super Rooster? I don't know, I kind of doubt it would fit at all. I've mounted a Tempest in my TC3, but that was really pushing it(literally, I almost ripped the reciever wires trying to push it into the space). If you can afford something else(like the Cyclone or Atom), then I'd do that, those 2 will fit in there MUCH better..... :)

I mounted the super rooster on it's side in my pro 3. That lasted all of 1 days racing, cause it threw the balance of the car way off. I put it in my EMT after that. Decided to go with the Tekin g-10, and have been very pleased.
it doesn't help stability
but stick the rec. to the top of the servo
I had a bad experence with a tekin once...
10 cells,low turn mod. motor,etc.
It WAS rated 350amp...
too bad the thermal overload didn't work
It didn't have time to
the cir.board caught fire first
TEKIN=JUNK I don't know how they stay in busness???
