traxxas stampede question

i just got a traxxas stampede i got it all back together and it runs but its very slow in reverse it has a stock motor in it but its still slow for that does anyone know what may cause this its the electric stampede i tryed to adjust the slipper clutch but it really didnt help to much i would appreciate any help thanks

What kind of ESC, and Radio are you running? Make sure you don't have some reverse throtle dialed out of your radio first. It could also be the ESC.

You could also check the motor, make sure the brushes aren't worn down.

Let us know what you find out.

If it's the TQ make sure its 50/50 or if it's 70/30 thats your reason.

traxxa's Top-Qualifer, they usally come with the rtr kits.

If it is still slow, only in reverse, the reason is because all stock motors, are locked at 24 degrees timing, and they are not really made to go in reverse.
