What to buy

Hi folks
Looking to maybe get into gas powered on-road cars, the F-1 cars look really interesting. Anybody running those? I'm new to this, so maybe a full bodied car to start. Gas only, electric cars don't do much for me.
Any publications that would be good read to start off?

Get the two books that Airage (the publishers of RCCA) publish on nitro, getting started and advanced tuning tips, if i would have gotten them BEFORE i got into nitro i coulda saved and engine or two...!

All of the previous are among the most popular of the 1/10 Nitro Touring Car Scene. I know there have been F1 type vehicles released in the past...I do not think though, that they are very popular among the purebred racing genre.
