X-treme High Jump Pics

the first two pics were taken at our RC Olympics... the take off ramp was 4 feet tall, and basically was formed like a quarter pipe... the landing ramp isn't really seen... but it was 3 feet tall....

the first pic is of a T-2 with a super-hot 14 mod motor in it... the guy pulled a 180 in the air landed it perfectly...

the second pic is of the Stern-meister's own FT T-3.... the bar is set at 8 1/2 feet... and the top of the limbo poles are 13 1/2 feet.... the tip of the flags on top of the poles is right at 14 1/2 feet... i was running a 12x2 Fantom mod with 19/87 gearing and fuel tubing on the shock shaft to keep the truck from botteming out on the take-off ramp... and yes, the jump was perfectly landed....

and in case you haven't already seen it.. the last pic is of a E-maxx jumping off the hobby shop building.... yes, it was landed and nothing was broken...

surprisingly.... we didn't really break all that many parts.... i did end up breaking the top plate on my T-3, and one pro-line rim... but it didn't keep me from driving...

i know the T-2 ended up breaking the rear body mounts.. but that was about it....

the guys running with just stock motors were topping out at about 9 feet.... and i don't think any of those guys broke....

btw.... we are doing the 50 foot bridge jump this saturday with the E-maxx.... i will post pics asap.... hehehehehheehe

i will be at the hobby shop from around 1pm till 10pm next saturday.. and i double checked....we have both P-2-k and GM-3 Fantoms LTD's in stock....

Hey Howie... How do you like the Fantom Mods? On the fantom site they say they have both epic and yokomo based motors? Which would be better for top speed?

I'm gonna get a 13x3 for my TC3 and I was gonna get one for my FT T3 but never got around to it. I only have a fantom p2k in it. :( thanks man.

i really liked the Fantom 12x2.... performed like a pit bull on crack in my FT T-3... tons of low end, a decent punch in the mid-range, and rev'ed out to the moon on top-end... good stuff for sure.... (i was using the Epic based mod) ...
