Hi

i have an RC10 Graphite Team Car (stealth trans) with a novak 410M1, a handwound 13T trinity champ series and a KO propo EX-5

the gear has maybe 4 hours use and is arround 3 years old(?)

is this stuff still good?

the car still hauls *** but i don't take it arcing (yet) so i was wondering if it is going to be able to compete ok (in an unrestriced novice class etc)

I havn't used a B3 so i have no idea, all i know is that it eats my mates HPI RS4MT for beakfast.

also is it possible to convert it to the rc10T3 fairly cheap?

any help would be much appreciated

cheers

Yes, you SHOULD race it.
Don't be sucked into all the marketing hype. Yes, the new cars handle better, are easier to work on, etc, but not by so much that a novice would not have great fun playing and racing !
I still have one of those kits. Just for fun I took it for a spin last year. It was suprisingly easy to drive, handled well, and was fun. I got some attention too !

It is all about fun, not hardware ...

i agree with jeepinator! race it! novice racing is all about not crashing. whoever crashes the least will win! and i bet an open novice class has a lot of crashes. someone had as aluminum chassis rc10 out at the track the other day and was having a blast with it.

i race with an ex1 propo, which is older than your radio, and it is great.

You can't upgrade your rc10 to a t3, but i think you might be able to make a rc10t. not sure about that. I wouldn't worry about it if you are going to race open novice. when you get better, you can upgrade to a new kit. meanwhile, have fun with what you have.

novice class is meant for people to learn how to drive. just practice and learn throttle control and patience, and you will win races with that car. guaranteed.

All you need to do is get the proper tires. Other than that, go out there and have fun, because the RC10 was a great car.
