Welcome to GT!
I believe both center diffs will work fine. You will need to replace both front & rear center driveshafts with the Kyosho "STR" truggy units. Make sure they are from the "STR" truck, not the newer "STRR" model. The newer truck is longer and you need the ones from the "STR" which is the same length as our IGT2 chassis, ok
All the best! :)

Ok, i actually got a new center diff for the inferno 7.5 neo and i got a good deal on a mp7.5 kanai2 chassis...
so... the wheelbase will still be the shorter IGT, correct? I also got center universals and need to get the fronts, which all should be the same model # ,correct?
all the gas tanks interchangeable between the 7.5 777 gt2, what about the newer mp9 tank?

If you have the mp7.5 kanai2 chassis, you should be good to go!
Pick up the IGT2 or the tank from the STR or STRR truggy, they're 150cc units. I've never seen or heard about the MP9 tanks, but they should have less fuel capacity.
Good luck and have fun!

MP9 tank is cool looking, it has the finger loop builtin! Yes its the Kanai2 chassis, now im looking for a Subaru wrx body and want to make it rally style... do you know if the wheels and tires from a Kyosho Citroen DRX fit?

Good to know the MP9 fuel tank fits the chassis, could help out someday; what's the fuel capacity of it?
Don't have much experence with those Rally style bodies & tires, but if you're ever interested in running on pavement these Ipanema items will give you great performance.

Front GT slicks are the industry standard 41mm width, while the rear slicks are unique to the GT car industry at 47mm wide. More real rubber on the road= more available traction every time.
For hi-speed GT racing, the 2 time World Champion Winning GT Warrior body is the choice of racing Champions too.

i got the MP9 tank to fit, but I had to use standoffs from another kit (HPI) and eliminate the little drain hole part, i dont spill fuel that often so it's not a biggie for me. i believe the cap. is 125cc which is fine since i dont race,
just bashing so just about any tires will do. i've been told the center hole of the DRX rally car wheels needs to be drilled out to fit the IGT hubs...so instead, I am using inferno buggy wheels/Losi buggy tires..
thanks for your help, jspeed! :)

Just came back from the Texas Nitro Winter Series final round at Porter, TX. I TQ'ed and finished 2nd in this final round with my Kyosho GT1. There was an awesome battle between my car and my friend Shawn B's car. My car was in the lead until about 30 seconds left in the race then the 1st spur gear from the 2speed went out and ended up in 2nd place. Regardless, Shawn drove a fantastic race, a well deserved win indeed. The video clip pretty much tells the story of what happened. However, I was lucky enough and took home the 1st place award for finishing 1st in the point series. This track and the overall facility is absolutely awesome. The fantastic GT racers here in Texas are great bunch of guys indeed. Can't wait to go back and have some more fun!!!!
I would like to thank IGT hobbies, Sweep Racing Tires, Desoto Racing, and Radiopost for providing me all the GT parts, best GT tires, Novarossi engine and the fantastic radio equipment I needed for this race.

Just spoke with Eggie the Race Director of Barceloneta and he said the local TV stations are running commercials for the event.
We may actually get a pretty good spectator turnout, might help grow the GT class even more in Puerto Rico because of it.

If any of you still thinking of attending you have some time left to join the party.
There are 23 days to go until the start of the 2012 GT World Championships! 8-)

I hope someone can help
I have an Inferno GT I have done a couple mods, new motor, and electronics
I have just recently bought the new Kyosho 2 speed transmission IGW008. I have replaced the old transmission and fits where original was perfectly.
I was also told that I would have to change my front center swingshaft to IFW307 in order to fit. I have this shaft but it is still to big. It is definitely not the right one.
Does anyone know which shaft I need, Im sure I'm not the first person to try this up grade.
I hope someone can help
Thanks Aaron
