View Full Version : 2 simple questions of mini-t and losi spin-start backplate

Ok guys I dont now what to do with these problems:

First: The other day I was running my mini-t and crashed with a wall. My mini-t is equipped with oil shocks and the black plastic part that is use to hold it to the arm broke and I dont know where to find the part, or I need to buy new shocks? Second: My maxx with a 18tm is equipped with the roto start system but the controller broke, so, can I buy the losi spin start backplate for .12-.16 engine to start my 18tm with my LST spin start?? would it fit? I am very confused with these, please help me! :eek: thanks.

The first one, yes, the bottom shock part is included.

If the backplate fits the engine, then it will work. As for it fitting, I don't know.

which roto start system do you have? the HPI one? If so, I would reccomend just finding the same backplate to replace the broken one.

The HPI roto start and the Mach spin start have different mounting holes. The spin start that fits the Mach.26 has mounting holes that are farther out than the Roto start mounting holes. Is that what you're asking?

no my roto start-like system was hot bodies, specialy desingned for the t-maxx. My problem is that the controler ( the part that you hold with the hand not the backplate) broke. I also have an LST, so, my question was: Can I fit the losi .12-.16 backplate in my 18 tm? to start it with the losi spin start from my LST

no that back plate wont work with the 18TM... tiger I beleive makes the one you want.

less crap to cart around... I like only needing to carry a plug starter in my back pocket. no need for 6 cell packs and losing the roto start shaft in the middle of the woods.

yeah that is true just carry your fuel and plug and you are good to go
