Has any one tried any *towerPro servos or products. I'm thinking about trying this servo (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=421_36_50&products_id=16259) in my drift car and this servo (http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=421_36_50&products_id=15968) in my nitro truck or buggy. So, can anyone comment on the quality of *towerPro servos and products?

I can't speak for quality...but judging by this conversion calculator, it sounds like a great servo. Also, I may be off kilter a bit on this...but judging by the numerals in the Model #...ie, MG995...I wonder if this is an offshoot company of Hitec...kind of like Sanwa to Airtronics??? For $20...it is definately worth a shot. Only issue is if you're anywhere other than HK, shipping may be a bit expensive from RCMart. I can personally vouch for them however as I have bought in the past and they do offer great service. Just, expensive (overseas) shipping and your item can take up to two weeks to arrive.

Thanks for the help LD3. *TowerPro also makes a Futaba mc330cr esc clone, so your theory might not be far off. Either way I'll most likely give them a try, just have to convince my parents.

Looks too good to be true though, hitec could be out of servo business :p :D

I notice the specs say stall torque instead of output torque like in hitec and futaba servos, I wonder if there's a difference...

Btw found towerpro's website (http://www.towerpro.cn/pdu15.htm), think rcmart has the specs wrong.

Uh... Yeah I'd say rcmart's specs are a little off. Thanks for the website. Now I don't kow if the shipping is worth it...

JR makes a gear drive servo thats pretty affordable, and you won't have to buy twice.
