Traxxas rustler MIP cvds

I need help. A couple of months ago I bought a set of mip cvds for a nitro rustler from the sell/trade boards here. I put these on my electric rustler and they worked fine. Are these interchangeable or did the seller screw up and say nitro when he ment electric. Thanks for the help.

The problem is that I'm selling them and others are questioning that they will work on both a nitro and electric. One guy talked to someone at MIP and was told that the parts were impossible to interchange. I don't want to screw someone over.
