Well here it is my first body with my airbrush. I need some more practice that for sure. Got a little heavy on the paint in spots and to much air. Oh well, it will do for now. Well, enough talking here it is.

Thanks guys. I am pretty hard on myself, I am a perfectionist. No I didnt forget to finish cutting out the hole for the fuel tank, I did that on purpose. I dont do any long mains that I have to make pit stops so I left it that way since I think it looks a little better. I can still refuel with the body on so that was my main concern.
Just keep practicing. After 10 bodies you will look back at your first and realize how much you've learned! It's such a great hobby. Nice job on the body!

Good work for your first time. The more bodies you do, the better you get. Can't wait to see your next one.

mine was dreadfull but it don't take long to get the bug and get good.
I like your arrow design and with everything, the exicution is only a small part of the overall finished item. Have a look at my second design the lexus cillit bang car on my site and that was my second shell. i will try and forget my first.
but checks were ambisous.

Looks pretty good. I like the letters. I have to try and learn the letters. I need to go ahead and get some of the liquid mask. I did this body with a paint mask from parma. Thanks for the compliments.

the way i do lettering is us wordart on word.
You can tweek the sizes of the lettering easily, then print and test. once the size is right. Then i use the mirror function to get it to read backwards the stick it to the outside of the shell with some spray mount. make sure u have not removed the protective film before hand.
now just cut along the line on the inside of the body.
this method works best as you don't have to cut through layers of paper or tracing with a pen then to cut by those lines.

sounds good. Thanks for the help. My next body is going to be a jato so I will see if I get any better. I will post pics when that one is done. Probally after the first of the year.
