I was just wondering if there was a protective film on the outside of the Team Losi
body for the XXX-4?
I was just about to mark the outside to get started on a painting a design
and I cant seem to start to peel any type of film from the edge.
Thanks - K.

yeah just got a XXX4 G+ two weeks ago, didn't start the paint job yet. no film here too.

but, tested a permanent marker on the body, then cleared it with alcohol. it's still clear and looks shiny so I think that can be used. another idea I got from a friend is sticking a food-wrapper film (not sure what they're called) on the body while it's wet, to keep the paint particles sticking to the outside. but drawing on it can be tough.

i think i'm going to draw the stuff on the body with the marker first, then cover it up with the wrapper film.

That is dumb and they wonder why people complain!
O.K thanks for the input I did not think it could possibly
be that hard to get the film off. And it did look really shiny
from the outside. I guess I'll get started painting!
Have fun,
Kevin.
