Rick Howart, Billy Easton and Todd Hodge are all representing the U.S. here in Switzerland for the GP Batteries Touring Car Carpet World Cup. All of Europe's top drivers are in attendance including Marc Rheinard, David Spashett, Jilles Groskamp, Martin Hudy, Teemu Leino and many others. Yesterday was the first day of controlled practice and Rheinard was the fastest with a single fastest lap fo 10.66. As expected all of the fast guys are near the top. Today is the second six rounds of controlled practice. The track is coming in and lap times are getting faster. Stay tuned and I'll keep you posted as long as my internet connection remains good.

Wheels: Team Orion (hard)
Inserts: Team Orion JB Ultra Light Blue
The facility here is absolutely dialed! By far the best track I have ever been too. It's located near Geneva Switzerland where the V2 endbell is manufactured. Its also where testing for the new CRF Wasp Rev engine has taken place. An elevated cafe that serves food, drinks, and even beer overllooks the carpet track. Just beyond the walls of the carpet track is a prepped asphalt nitro track, where the racers are currently pitting. The organizers have printouts for all the racers, so they know exactly when their heats are up. Just like it should be, the racing program is run on time like a Swiss watch. Below the track you'll find the CRF factory, a fully stocked hobby shop and and even a boat pond. I'll try and post pictures sometime today.

What are they using Orion GP cells?
Batteries are open (3700mAh max) but most are using GP3700.

Well, I expect if anyone is using GP cells, they would Orion, they have the best ones. Orion GP cells are the only ones close to IB cells.
