Here's some pics of my setup. It's a SS5800 (original, not the (+) system)

It worked fine in my XXX-4 but since my GTB 5.5 fried in 4 seconds in the XX-4, I transplanted the SS5800 into the XX-4 pictured below. There exists massive sputtering or cogging as it's called on low throttle. Once it speeds up, it's fine. I have it set to the max speed without reverse. In the XXX-4, it was set to max speed with reverse. Anything wrong you see with my wiring?

thanks, Kevin

should also mention, gearing in the xx-4 above is 84 (I think, purple losi spur) and 21 for pinion.

In the xxx-4, it was 92/18

Just try to lower the gearing a little. Ummmmmm...check for a loose sensor wire or all wires.......maybe you have a weakened phase. If it is that bad then maybe ship it off to Novak and see what they say. Im not to sure....

Also the Novak reps have always mentioned moving the controller 180 degrees and seeing if it glitches less then move it again 180 degrees and testing it again. This is mostly done for glitching but since you arent having glitching issues it might not work for you.

You've got a lot of extra motor wire, so you could cut off some of the excess wire. This could reduce cogging and will make a neater setup as well.
