my motor that i thought needed a comm cut to work (it still does) but it stops working because it jams every time i hit the throttle what could it be

Does it have a lot of armature or brush "play" (side to side movement" ? Also, have you checked the bearing / bushings to make sure they are still in good shape? Does it do it under low load? Meaning if you hook it up to a 4 cell pack or just run it with no pinion?

the brushes are ok but i will change them i run it on a four cell no load then it wont spin i twist then it goes but when i unplug it then hook it up again it wont spin and twist are of course there it goes

That really sounds like you have a hung brush. Something is preventing it from making good contact with the comm(be it dirt on the brush or comm, exessive brush wear, or something in the brush hoods interfering with the brushes' movement). To be sure, the best thing to do is rebuild the motor, & replace the brushes. That should help solve the problem..... :)

i had the same prob so i took it apart and the magnets on the inside were all cracked :eek:
