Sounds to me like you wired the receiver cable incorrectly. If your receiver hasn't got reverse voltage protection then you may have damaged it. Reference the instructions for the radio to try and determine what the wiring scheme is for the receiver. Make sure you match it with the wiring harness on your Dually. Since you had a Fusion, reference that wiring to determine the correct sequence for the Dually.

Dude, you need to make sure you read directions carefully. I don't know what you've done to your receiver, but I think I know your Dually problem. The slow blinking is telling you that you're in stock profile mode. You totally skipped the programming part. Turn everything off and turn on the ESC. Now push in the button and hold it down until it turns red again then stop pushing it immediately. Now program it with your radio (if the receiver still works) and you're done. One question: are you red-green colorblind (seriously)? That could be a problem. To set the throttle profile you press and hold the button until it turns red first then green, and when you let go it will blink fast (Mod profile) or slow (Stock profile). To change profiles you tap the button again (I think), and it will blink at a different rate. Get it? Now go make sure it works...

This happened the FIRST time I turned on my ESC. I have never turned the ESC on before this time. And when I turned it on, it was already blinking red. And I don't think I'm color blind. lol.

I have a TQ radio. I didn't do anything to any wires on the receiver, or the receiver wire for the ESC.

Are the plugs in the receiver correctly? Steering servo ch.1, esc ch.2. If they are in that way, they just take them out, and turn them from left to right, right to left. I think the wire colors are black, red white pointing towards the big part of the reciever...they may be reversed. Turn them the opposite way, so if you had it like the above, it would now be white, red, black. i cant remember how i had mine, but email me after you try this and see what happens. dont worry, your esc wont explode if the plugs are in wrong. do you have teh tx. and rx. crystals mixed up? check that too.

Sorry, I assumed a lot. If that's happening the first time you use it, something is up. Check to see if the one-touch button is stuck down. Try turning it on without being plugged into the receiver. What happens then?

I tried to program my dually last night, and when I turned it on, the LED turned RED, and blinked once every second or so. And that's all it did. I tried to press the on touch button like it says, and waited for it to turn solid red. It didn't. It just kept blinking and blinking..... slowly. I tried reversing my channels, I tried switching my plugs to my receiver, and my trims are at zero. Nothing has changed it. It still does that. Solid red, and blinks once every second or so. I have a tamiya connector on it, and the RED wire coming from the ESC goes onto the red wire of my connector. And then, I have a jump wire hooked to the RED wire from my ESC, going to the POSITIVE side of my motor, and then, the BLUE wire from the ESC to the NEGATIVE side of the motor, and then the BLACK wire from the ESC hooks to the BLACK wire on my connector.

I also herd a buzzing sound coming from my receiver. I don't know why it did this. When I had my transmitter on, alone, without the ESC, it did this too. Then, I turned off my radio, and tried to turn it back on, and the buzzing stopped. What's that mean? My receiver was brand new like in november of last year I think. It's a BEC from Traxxas. I have a Traxxas TQ.

I know in RCCA you guys have used these ESC's, so you should be able to help me. My Fusion only took my like 5 minutes to set up, and the Dually has taken me a day so far. But it's still not working!!!!

I had a problem with my TQ radio, the transmitter xtal was touching a metal clip and the reciever was acting jammed. If I wiggled the xtal in the trans, it would work when it wasn't touching the clip. Just a wild shot, but check that. I have a dually and I love it.

I have a Dually and when the plug is in backwards it will blink every 2 seconds for less than a 1/10 of a second. all u have to do it make sure your servo plug is in the #1 spot and your ESC plug is in the #2 spot, if you look real close you can see the number's. if it still does it turn it around!

XXXT racer had it. I thought that the connector was like the traxxas one, with the little thing stickin out of the edge so you cant put it in the wrong way. DOH!! this thing is kind of slow though. It is on the modified setting. I have a 84 tooth spur, and an 18 tooth pinion. Its a 11 turn Trinity speed gems 2 topaz. My 13 turn seems faster. I didn't get outside though. It rained like a mutha earlier. Too wet. In a few days I'll go out.

I keep stripping my motor can though. Everytime I try to put my motor in, the hole strips. I've gone through 4 motors this way.
