Hey

I was thinking about getting a temp gun and was wondering what you guys think are the best. I was looking at the Duratrax Flash Point Temp Gun, is that a good one?

Thanks :)

Whats your price range? You can spend $20 or $200.

I have the Atomik R/C Microtemp, and I love it.

RayTek.

They specialize in making temp guns. For R/C needs, the MiniTemp model is great.

I have the DuraTrax and its been great, easy to read and nice features, while still being inexpensive.

Check out the Jan '06 RC magazines, one of them has an article on temp guns.

I use the OFNA temp. gun and it is great. A buddy just got a Duratrax gun and it is tiny but also works great.

Hey guys, are these temp guns specific to nitro/electric? Or no?

Also I've heard of one recently giving false highs or lows? Anyone know what model that is? So I don't buy it?

Also, what does a decent one cost? This is for an electric.

Thanks

Any of them will work for nitro or electric. Usually most are rated at +2/-2 degrees which really isn't a big deal. You can get the Duratrax gun from Tower for around 25 bucks. This is really all you need.
