can we buy direct from kyosho america? is there a site to do that? also, how can we help kyosho get into stores like hobby people, smaller hobby shops, and larger hobby shops? i only know 2 stores in southern california that stock inferno products. the others are over 100 miles away.

i want to help spread word about kyosho, i run the kits every weekend and get younger guys excited about the inferno line. it seems to work after only a few weekends, they go out and get an sp1 kit off the internet and then ask where to buy parts. what more can we do to get kyosho in hobby stores again?

You've got to get people to go into their LHS's and ask for Kyosho and tell the shop owner he should start carrying their products.

adrianderekluna - thanks for the support. We strongly support the local hobby shop, which is why we don't offer direct sales to consumers. Our hobby is a techical one, and it often requires the knowledge and guidance that can only come from face time with a knowledgable hobby shop owner or counter person. We will support users that are unable to buy parts locally, but it's definitely cheaper to go through the LHS. Having said that, there's many, many hobby shops in the So-Cal area that are carrying Kyosho product, but if you can't find it in you local shops, please let them know you're intersted in having them stock Kyosho products. They can contact us at sales@kyoshoamerica.com. Once the dealer application is approved, there's no crazy-high minimum first orders, so they can order as little or as much as they choose. Being located here in So Cal ourselves, no shipment takes longer than a day on average.

awesome. thanks!

i've requested kyosho from hobby people managers and was refused cooperation on that matter. i'll try for more hobby shops.

i agree, there needs to be a populated demand. i'm one of few i imagine.

Hey Steve - are we going to get the new 2wd buggy? Is it going to be called the Ultima?

also, thanks for being able to answer questions regarding kyosho. it's something other brands just do not do on public forums. shows some efforts there.

Hey Steve - are we going to get the new 2wd buggy? Is it going to be called the Ultima?
YES PLEASE! We all know that the 2WD is in the works but I hope they keep the Ultima name. It's a Kyosho tradition that I hope they keep. I would accept Triumph as a possibility but Ultima is the best name in my book.

adrianderekluna - thanks for the support. Ultima - We're not really sure what the future will bring for the 2WD, but I'll certainly pass along whatever we have when we recieve new info. I personally would like to see something different than Ultima or Truimph (I still have both of the originals ;) ).

my hobby shop seems to be having a problem dealing with KyA also..esp the mini z cars.,...and parts........doesn't seem right that one shop that has a z track gets 156(4wd) cars...ad he gets 1......esp when its HIS customers that are populating alot of the races......and they end up buying the cars at the competing shop......
