novack 410m5 esc

I just got a novack 410m5 esc with the manual. Does anyone know how many turns it can handle and how old they are. The book doesnt say any limit at all. Any advise would be helpfull.

I have one of those. It's great. I think the controller is from the early '90s. It can handle 4-10 cells. The instructions don't mention a motor limit. I believe someone on the Novak board said the turn limit was 15. I've been running a Speedgems 12x2 on my old RC10 Team Car for years and never had any trouble.
