View Full Version : Lost radio range when I put in p2k motor and deans connectors ??

Anyone have this problem with radio range ? no problem bedore with stock motor.

I'm not so sure it's your motor. The only thing I could think of would be maybe if the brushes were arcing. Check a different motor and see if it does the same thing. Other than that, check over your radio gear.
Also, check your connector joints, make sure that the connection is solid and there's no possibility of arcing between a bad connection.

p.s. Also, the P2K has capacitors already installed, if you installed a 2nd set, it may have something to do with it also.

I've heard of this happening on a couple occasions with a P2K. In each occasion, the person removed the factory installed capacitors and installed normal capacitors in the usual manner. The problem went away.
