What is the best and easiest way to give the car a good cleaning on the Nitros?
Just got two of them in off eBay and would love to give them a clean but not sure the do's and don't.

I usually spray mine down with nitro clean, then blast em' with the air compresser. If I really get em' dirty I'll take the rc apart and give it a thorough once over with some denatured alcohol. Then re-assemble.

nope....you may be able to get away with it if your lucky, but I wouldn't chance it. I get the feeling your thinking about using a hose. :(

take off the engine and all electronics, then throw it into the dish washer. if you REALLY want to be safe, you can take off the front/center/rear diffs, then put it in, but you dont have too.

You can leave the whole front end and rear end on and spray it with a Nitro Cleaner? Would you have to take the front and rear Differential apart or can you leave them on?

i use denatured alcohol from ACE at 1/10 the price of lhs cleaners and a generic spray bottle. I tear down after a nasty run and clean all the parts. it may seam like a pain at the time, but in the long run it really pays off.

I'm with h2o. I did that when I had my Pirate and its stayed looking pretty much new, with the exception of the scratches

i to use denatured alcohol and an air compressor..denatured alcohol will not hurt electronics..i spray may down with denatured alcohol receiver, servos and all. and blow everything off with an aircompressor.then after all thats done i take wd40 spray some on a rag and wipe all plastic parts and steels parts down..the wd40 makes everything look like new plus it keeps dogbones and cvd's from rusting and various other metal parts.
