I not sure if a electric TC will go THE BIG 100 MPH! If its possible you would need a very low turn motor, the right gearing, and an esc that could handle all of it.

First off it could happen and will happen if someone puts there mind to it. Heres a list of stuf that would be needed.
~some where around a 3 or 4 turn motor~
~a esc that could handl it~
~the best batteries~
~the corect gearing~
The out come might be ify. you would have very low run times

100 MPH with electric car HAS been done before, but... yeah, I believe a TC could do it. The batterys and ESC wouldn't be a MAJOR problem. Gearing is doable. But, the weight of a TC would be hard to get over. You can figure it out thru math. Get all the info, and post it if you wish. I'm sure there are others out there like me that could do the math.

Here you go guys, i'm working on a little speed project right now with my tc3. the one major factor to it is a very good motor. when you buy a factory modified motor they run fast at first but if you run them and cut the com very well, and change the brushes every run, it will get faster every time. right now i'm running a D3.5 trinity armature that is a 8turn single that is machined to perfection, and we put it in a reedy fury can. this ***** has got acceloration like a rocket. also go with a speed controll like the tekin G12C-III or G-10 that can handle 12 cells, and then use twelve cells and your will get a **** load of speed out of it. also drive train modifications will help, i liek the tc3 because there is virtualy no resistance on the drive train. and the lighter the parts the less rotating mass, which means more acceloration. Well hope you can get your beast to go 100MPH! mabey we can race, LOL!
