review of the new Duratrax Warhead

Wish I could give you one, my buddy just picked up his new RTR Warhead from a local hobby shop and it broke while breaking it in!!! The thing stripped a plastic "spur" gear at less than half throttle.

I was excited about this truck but it looks like I'm off to buy a Savage 2.5 instead.

The hobby shop only had one, he had just recieved it on Tuesday or something. I'm sure it's just a problem with it being an RTR, and one of the first ones shipped but man to spend that kind of coin on a toy that is now rendered worthless sucks. Reminds me of those cheap china pocket bikes.

yeah and you gotta check the mesh on all new rtr's before running them..i find alot of the time the mesh is wrong even though its a brand new ride

Yeah I feel like that gear mesh must have been pretty loose. It's not like you're driving too fast during break in.
