i have a ft t3 and a cheap hitech servo. the servo gears keep striping. i striped 1 gear yesterday and 2 gears today. does anyone know why??????? and i am thinking bout buying high tork metal gear servo but can only spend bout $40. does anyone have and suggestions on a servo????? thanks
It is very common problem to have your gears stripped. You need a metal gear servo for your application. For the amount of money you mentioned, I suggest you get the Hitec 605MG servo. It costs only $39.99. just fit your bill. The specifications for 605 is:
Speed: 0.16 sec/60 deg. Torque: 77 oz/in

You need to clean and lub the servo saver. I was braking a servo every time I ran my truck but after I fixed to servo saver I have not broken on since.

I used the greese that was in my T3 kit. There might be something better but that was all I had at the time.
