Every time i run my Rustler little kids chase my car, try to stomp on it, throw stuff at it, ect.. One time I was dropping a fresh pack in my truck and getting ready to put my BRAND SPANKING NEW, FRESHLY PAINTED F150 BODY on and a little brat cane up to me with something behind his back. I paid no atension to him(BIG BIG MISTAKE,)turned around to pick up my body clips off the ground and I heard the unmistakable crack of a body. I whirled aaround to find my new body crushed under a huge rock. I was P****d. I ran after him, triped him, picked him up and returned to poor body, picked it up(still holding the kicking frantic brat) and took him to his house. After I explainded the incident to his parents, they paid me in cash for what had been broken. I was stoked and p****d at the same time. The kid got a beating of a life time and never returned again. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Have you ever had an incident with a lil kid or doog

Thats why you get nitro cars. Animals are afraid of the sound, and kids...well, your on your own.

A little brat once partially ran my electric rustler over with his bike. My rustler was not moving and he was creeping up to the front of my rustler while he was on his bike. I didn't hit reverse cuz I didn't think he had the guts to do it. His front wheel came up on my rustler and caved the body in. No damage at all but I had some creases in my body even though it popped back to its original shape.
This meant bad news for the brat. After I pushed him off his bike, I threw his bike around for about a minute and slammed him a couple of times.

Not like that at all with me. There are many young kids on my block (under ~10), and they ride their bikes aronud and just stop and look at my car. Sometimes I let them drive it around if they are really interested. My neighbors dog, a jack russel, used to chase my car. But then i'd stop, turn around, and chase the dog. It was a riot to watch because we'd go back and forth and the dog would be barking the entire time. If a younger kid that was a wise arse tried to break my car, i'd pin him down, take his shoes off, throw them over the power lines, then kick the kid in the butt and make him run home. Hopefully I will never have to try that. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Spish! I'd would do anything..except! Take the kid to his parents! Take out one of my many catalogs (the pricy company that i never order from) and find all my parts and tell them i want them to pay for it plus! express postage because i am going to be in a race in a few days! Then order the stuff from tower (extra cheap) and get normal shipping! Hey might get a free body or whatever in price diff. But then again the excessive rage might take over and that kid might find his bike on the roof of a near by house, or the dog being shaved or so on. hopefully it is an expirenece that i wonthave but sadly there are sooo many brats that would do that it is inevitable.

Well one time I just got my new ramps built which was this year. My friends came out to watch. They are both older than me too. 13 and 15. They were throwing this ball back and forth but when i came to hit the jump the 13 year old would stop throwing it. One time the 15 year old didnt and naled my car with the ball. I am only 11 but got in his face. I was ******! Luckily nothing was broken. They both have cars. The 15 year old doesnt really care about his car and the 13 year old respects his a bit more. My car... I treat it like it is a baby sister.

WELL, this story begins back in the days of messing around with my stampede, this little(AHEM) was riding around on her bike, and going down teh side walk, i did not see her and then WHAM, right down the center of my oh so beloved vehicle, from front to back, i saw the thing in slow, motion, she stops AFTER she is doen smashing my dreams, and replies, "OoopS" and took off giggling, i then proceeded to shout obscenities that not an 11 year old should know(hehe). WELL, i am 15 now, and know even more!

I have never had any brats mess with my truck. Matter a fact they all come out side just to see me run up and down the road, while they say my mom and dad are getting me one of those.......i laugh. One day this guy 1 year younger then me has his little Radio Hut car outside running it out side cussing at me say he could kick my azz in a race. I told him to put his money where his mouth is, ran inside for a new pack, raced him...and won! After he gave me the money he went inside and told his dad, he dad comes to my house all pissy and shyit saying if i don't give the money back he would destroy my car. I told him if he could get a hold of my truck he could have the money back. It was funny as hell because he ran after the truck for at least 3 mins untill i popped it over the step and into my house. Well the point in this story is race at your local track, not some little prick! LOL

One Time I had my XXT-CR, out on the street drivin it around. I was just kinda showin it off. I had about three or four people come up to me and ask me where I got it. Then I look across the street to see a little kid watching me. Didn't think anything about it. Big mistake, after I finished off one battery he goes inside. Then about half way through my secong pack I notice he's back outside. But He had something in his arms that caught my eye. So I stoped my truck and looked over at him to see what he had. He was standing about 10 feet away from my truck with a pelet gun pointed right at my truck. As soon as I knew what he had in his hands I opened my truck up to fullthrotle trying to get it back around my house. Bang Bang. I could here the pelets piercing my new body as I swerved to avoid the bullets. I got it around my house where he couldn't see it. Once I got to to saftey I relized I had four wholes in my new body. I placed my controller down and ran as fast as I could to catch the kid. I caught him and taught him a lesson. I told the kid to bring me his favorite toy or else I would go get his parent's. so he went inside and brought out a stuffed Pokemon. So I brought out my .22 rifle and lets just say the stuffed pokemon isn't his favorite any more. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Exactly.
This gives a lovely example to the non R/C crowd.
Now they think all R/Cers are violent 12 year olds.

I think electroman handled it just the way it should be dealt with. someone has to be responsible if not the little angel then the parents.
Comments?

Yes I have a comment.
I hope all of you know that even if a kid smashes your car you have no right to touch them.
You touch kid, you get arrested, you get charged with a felony, you go to jail for a year or so, you ruin your life.
Most of this stuff here is all talk, and no facts, but these kids gotta learn that assualting a person becuase of property damage is not acceptable.
Even "tripping the brat and carrying him home" will put an adult in the slammer.
Now a days with all the over zealous sue happy people you need to keep your hands to yourself. EVEN if you are both children.
It reminds me of an incident where my neighbor got sick of kids on his lawn, so he went outside and grabed a kid by the arm and walked the kid back to his house, then told the kids parents to keep the kid on his own yard.
20 min later my neighbor was in handcuffs for child abuse and aggravated assault. BTW the child was not hurt but he lied and said he was beaten although no marks were found.
My neighbor lost his job because of the 30 day sentence and had to pay this punk 500 dollars restitution for "pain and suffering". He also gets to go to one year probation.
So if some brat ruins your R/C you walk into the house, call police, let them collect the money or damages from the parents, or let thr legal system hande it. It isn't worth it to be a tough guy.

i aggree hpiguy. we always need more people in this hobby. technicalities stink, i know, but sometimes people have to pay the price for their actions. if i was your negihbor(the one who got arrested) i would have asked the kids politely to leave. if they didn't leve, i woluld have gone and told their parrents. hopefully, the parents will do it. if hot, then i would take the kids their parents. if the cops arrested me. i would take it to court. telling them everything i did prior to phsically grabbing the kid. but then again, i don't know your negihbor and i wasn't there.

Your right you should never lay a hand on a kid that could lead to nothing but trouble.
But I would march straight to the little brats house and have a heart to heart with the parents, if they agreed to pay for everything problem solved. If not then I would have to go through the hassle of calling the police.
When I was a kid I would have NEVER thought of laying a hand (let alone a rock) on anybody's R/C, Bike, whatever!
And when I did do something wrong (I know hard to belive) and the neighbor grabbed me by the arm and marched me home, My parents would deal with what I had done not with the fact that the neighbor grabbed my arm.
ever notice how in todays world it's always someone else's fault?
Things have changed.

No doubt crash.
Today most kids have a lack of responsibilty that their parents teach them.
In the incident I spoke of, the guy tried calling the kids parents but they didn't do anything. It was over a period of five years and he had enough. He was 43 at the time so he wasn't young either.
And same as you, when I was a kid and I pulled something, the neighbor who saw me would paddle my behind and send me home to mom and dad with a warning. And it was expected that way. Needless to say we only did that "wrong thing" once in those days right?
We listened to the neighbors, and followed whta they said as if our parents had said it. Now these kids don't even listen to thier parents, and mouth off to everyone.
And then still get tons of stuff for free and don't respect or appreciate it.
What happened?

HPIGUY- I can understand what your saying, even if I am only 14. And I totally agree with it. There are a bunch of kids out there that are spoiled little brats that get whatever their little corrupt hearts desire! But just to show you that there are a few good kids out there, I pay for 75% of all of the expenses, sometimes 100%. My dad pays for the rest. I do odd jobs for my money. I get a weekly allowance, for working. But my dad also is my pit crew/mechanic at the races. So he feels responsible to pay for a little because he is having fun with it to. I do my own mechanicing at home. I don't really know were I am going with this other than to say that I am proud of our hobby and proud of the way I support it and participate in it.

I think that some of todays parents don't instill the "fear" (if that's what you want to call it) into there kids. When I was younger there were fist fights in the school yard now knife and gun fights are a common occurrence.
But I'm getting off topic here.
Moral of this story be responsible for your actions good or bad.

I've never had any negative experiences with children or animals. My dog use to chase and bark at my old RC10 buggy around. Good exercise for him! Just this Christmas I got myself a RC12L3 and was driving around my street at night. The first run down the street drew out a white cat. He was very curious what my car was. It would creep up slowly and jump away. It was really kewl. After a while the cat got convertible and would chase it around in circles. A few times I'd stop and twitch the front wheels (making a little servo noise). The cat actually laid down, rolled over, and started to play with my car. Every night when I'd drive the cat would come out to investigate for a while. It was crazy cool!

My dogs won't go near my nitro cars (to much noise and to much smoke) but they get pretty close to my electric.
Now If I could only teach them to fetch when I flip my truck over on the other side of the lot.
