I am pretty new to R/C(5 mounths) And for my electric motors i am not quit sure what i should do for care of one. I know about cutting the com. What about oil? What should i do to my brushes? And any other things i should do to keep my motors running in tip top shape? Thanks

Pick yourself up a comm stick, Trinity makes a cool one, that is fiber glass, there are also other ones, that look like erasers that are good too, you can clean your brushes off, and your comm off, from all of that stuff. Lube your motor often! Replace brushes after cutting the comm. After getting your comm cut, be sure to not touch the comm, the oil on your fingers does not conduct electricity very well, hehe. Spray your armature liberally with motor spray when carbon deposits build up.
