The p2k can be geared ~1-2 teeth higher on the pinion vs factory recommendations. I run 24-25 tooth with 81 spur on my b3 and have plenty of torque, better top end, and loads of run time to boot. some might say this is too high, but for my track at Lake Park in Tampa it is perfect. ;)

Did anyone notice that he has a XXX spec TRUCK! Good acceleration would be a 88 spur and a 18 pinnon(88/18). If you want TOP speed go with 88 spur 22 pinnon (88/22). You can try other gears for more or less speed.
Note: A larger (92) spur gear will make the car accelerate fast than a small (85) spur gear. And just the opppisite with a pinnon a larger pinnon will make the car go faster but start out slpwer.
