Does anybody know anything about this car? Like is it as good as the FTTC3 or whatever?

I have heard absolutely nothing about this car. Nobody seems to have it (it supposedly has been released). I am hoping it will be reviewed in the next issue of RCCA, because it looks awesome, and should be a serious contender in TC.

the car WAS released SOME TIME AGO guys!! :D
its first few production kits came with a hudy 1/10th scale car station, and some hudy tools....
it was quite a deal, and people were dying for them.
they xray is distributed by serpent, and not many stores carry them.
from people i know who drive it say it is an excellent car, you that you cant ask for more :D

Seen one, driven one. The fit and finish of the car is what you would expect from Serpent(distributor). The Hudy setup that it was distributed with was a limited time offer to help promote the car. It's VERY well built, very tough, and is definately one of the higher end cars on the market. It has a price of about 320-340 on the street. The hobby store I work part time at has sold at least 12 in the last month. Very popular here in so-cal =)

Is it as good as the FTTC3 without having to install any hop-ups?

the xray has every imaginable hope-up, threaded shocks, one way, etc.
the main difference is most likely how they will feel.
the tc3 has a molded graphite chassis, whereas the xray is a carbon fiber plate - it just depends on you preference if you have any..... :D
