I bought this motor when I was into electric RC's about 12-15 years ago for my old Monster Beetle. I only ran probably 10 packs on it. It was supposed to be a better motor for monster trucks at the time. I just figured that since it still runs perfectly, that if it'll work for my application, I might as well run it. I don't however remember anything about it or have the paperwork for it.
Anything anybody could tell me about it would be appreciated.
Here's a couple pics:

Yea that was a popular motor back in the day,it's just a 27T stock motor,I still have a few laying around.I have a box full of every motor I've ever bought literally hundreds, all the way back to the original slot machine.

Thanks man. That's exactly what I needed to know. I'm building a rock crawler, so a 27t will be a good start. I'll probably either throw a GD600 gear reduction in with it or maybe eventually replace it w/ a 55t.

they are pretty good motors. I have a number of lower turn Ironmans(13-17), which are yokomo motors modified by S&K, a company out of Iowa. good motors.
Is S&K still in business?

They had also started producing NASCAR style bodies that had a channel to direct airflow to battery and motor, plus a few other speed items: Brush cutter, spring tension tool. Some of the items were later sold under the Race Tech brand. Both companies are out business now.
