I was at the track track this week and my truck kept shutting off and glitching. if you picked it up and set it back down then it would work.
I caught it when it was doing it once and the GTS esc was lighting up when I pulled the trigger so I'm thinking it has something to do with the motor. but sometimes the steering would go to so thats why I'm so confused (BTW I have a 2pl AM radio, GTS esc, and a stock monster motor, everything is only 2 months old)
Any suggestions on why throughout the day was my car not responding when I would pull the trigger or turn the wheel???
Thanks!

It could very well be the motor: Have you cleaned out the comm/brushes yet? After two months they probably need to be replaced and the comm could use a touch-up with a comm stick or even truing on a lathe. You need to flush the endbell with motorspray every few runs, the end of the day is usually fine.
It could also hae been low transmitter batteries.

Yea I take good care of my motor, I spray it clean the comm I just changed the brushes.
I was thinking that to about the trans batts.

Kaotic, if you're having problems with an AM radio, then there's something going on causing the glitching. Although changing radios may relieve the symptoms, you might still have something going on causing the glitching.
Take a look at the motor and follow the advice already given. Make sure the capacitors are still there and not blown or burned out. Also, do a thorough inspection of your wiring to make sure you don't have any nicks, cuts, or abrasions. Check your antenna wire as well for the same. Do your best to keep the antenna wire off of any CF parts. Check your battery connections for wear and corrosion.
If you do a search through the boards, you'll find some great information on preventing glitching and how to track down causes of glitching. Replacing the radio might be the answer, it might not. A thorough check of everything is definitely in order. Even if you don't find any problems, you've at least eliminated some potential causes.

It could be the Servo causing the glitching.
-A Metal Gear Servo can cause some Glitching.
What type of servo are you using?
Take Care.

If your picking it up and putting it back down and it works that indicates to me you have something jiggling that is causing your glitching. Something that is making intermittant contact. It could be a broken capacitor or more likely a broken reciever crystal. Or it could be loose power wires that flop around too close to the antenna wire. It could even be a reciever antenna wire with an internal break.

I'm pretty sure it wasnt the reciever because when it would act up I would pull the trigger and the ESC would light up but nothing would happen. I'm thinking it is something to do with the motor (27t- Monster) I just bought it not to long ago. How would I check the capacitors on it?
Thanks for all of your help so far.
