P2K vs. Rage

my best friend has a Rage and i have a P2K. we did a little 50 yard drag. his rage stomped a mudhole in me. i'm guessing its the gearing but i'm buying some trinity e-brushes and red and purple springs to take the holeshot. i'm just giving the P2K a makeover... the one they did in RC Car Action. :p i'll teach him whats up!!! it'll be a civic hatchback (Inline 4) vs. mustang (V8). needless to say... i'm the civic. and he's going down. ehhh... i love this hobby. :D

It’s got to be the gearing. My P2K stomps on my son’s Rage quite consistently.

I whipped up on a Rage the other day with my P2K. we had the same cars, running the same tires too, I'm not sure about setups, but for fun we both ran 1500 pirahna packs so we could rate it on driving. I ripped him apart off the line and out of the corners. are you guys running the same type of packs? I think it would be sort of hard to drag equally two electrics. btw anyone know a good gearing for a P2K pro on a FT TC3? I'm running the stock 28 tooth pinion 72 tooth spur gear. how much higher thana 28 can I go? thanks a lot

sorry John but i'm not much of an car guy for rc cars. only real life. but if i get a car i'd get a TC3. I have a T3 right now.
