Yea, nothing special, lol...

I stopped by the LHS out of boredom today. Didnt need anything but I ended up walking out of the store with this. The ProLine Peterbilt Big Rig body (looks to me like I could call it a 385). Not sure what kinda scheme I should use...

What you guys think I should do? Wanna keep it kinda simple, but something better than my other 2 solid color bodies.

I think you should paint the body like the truck in the movie Maxinum Overdrive.

paint the grill and stacks chrome and orange and yellow would look sweet paint it like shockwave

Cool ideas, but I need scheme that would go along with the colors already on my truck (blue, black, and silver).

Masked up, well, mostly.

Im thinking silver/blue. Silver where the masking is and blue everywhere else...or maybe the other way around...

looks good. what kind of tape is that i usually use 3m blue but open to try something new. does it work well

Its Scotch (3M) Automotive mask. Works well enough. Only thing WalMart had...I bought a 3/4" wide and a 1.5" wide roll.

Almost there!

I know some spots look bad (like at the border of the two colors in some areas) but this is my 1st 2 color body, so Im fairly happy with it so far...

Just a few more minor coats, then Im gonna paint the 5th wheel flat black.

BTW, if anyone cares to know, the 3 colors that will be on the truck are:

-Blue Streak
-Indy Silver
-Flat Black

All are from Pactra Racing Finish. Little 3 ounce rattle cans.

If you paint the black on the inside it won't be flat anymore. Just an fyi

Yea, just noticed that, lol. No problem...gloss looks just as good... :o
