I have seen a truck body painted in black and purple it was done by using saranwrap Ive also read you can do it with a sponge. my question is to anyone who can give me the entire process to achieving this bowlingball effect I want to try it on a new crowd pleazer body. I will post my truck as soon as it is done

Only AS FAR AS I KNOW/HAVE READ
I think its a case of putting some black on, let it dry a little then roll some scrunched up polythene or something over it while its still tacky. This will lift some paint, it will also compound some. Not just sure how it works, but i guess then u apply your second colour and do the same, then repeat till you are happy.
As I say I dont know, but I sure wanna, and hopefully someone will correct or confirm wat ive said.
Good Luck

THe way i do it is with Saran wrap.
1.spay your desired color 1st.(must be transparent paint or a candy) and allow to dry.
2.spary a decent coat of silver and make sure it is wet.
3.cover the "wet" silver with Saran wrap. The creases of the saran wrap will give you your pattern and allow to dry.
4.peel the saran wrap and shoot a black base coat and allow to dry.
i don't think it gets any simpler than that. There are a lot of variations, but this is the only methold i use.
