I just assembled my TC3 and when driving it around it doesn't want to turn and at the same time the rear end kicks out when it does turn. My TC3 has a Green Machine 3, Novak Explorer 2, Accord body, Futuba Sport radio w/ stock servo, and the original equipment tires. What can I do to make it handle better. Please help

try and redo your steering according to the manual on the servo

steering is like really hard to set up right. try moving the servo horn some other directions and then try.

I'll try that. The stock Futuba servo is slow and doesn't have much torque. What is the norm for servo performance in a TC3? Should I get a high-speed or high-torque and should it be plastic or metal geared?

I have the S3003 in my TC3 and it handles very well. Mybe your servo is broken.

make sure your tie rods all the correct lengths.
if thats semi-ok, connect all your electronics, but dont mount them quite yet. turn on the radio, and center the trim. now place the servo horn on the servo like it says in the manual. (1/16" towards the middle of the car) it will look weird nut just do it. now mount the servo without moving the horn. then extend the tie rod from the steering rack and snap it on to horn. hope that works!!!

also, dont be dumb like me and tighten the steering mechanism too tight...make it loose enough to steer!

I had a problem with mine that no matter what I did to the steering the car would always take a slight curve to the right. If I drove it in a straight line both forward and backwards it would end up about 5 feet to the right from where it started. Turned out it was the diff's out of adjustment. I adjusted both of them and cured the problem...just my $.02(CAN)....

Hey Royboy I thought the ackman bushings were loss, but I check them and they were a little tight. Now the steering is much more free.
Thanks A Lot :D

Bluesy, I agree mine also drifts to the right. I have my diffs adjusted so it is tight and the tires don't slip as much. How would I adjust it to go straight.
Thank you all for helping me out on my TC3 problems. :D
