I got one back when they first came out last december, it is the best charger i have had yet to date, not one single problem with it at all, and it gives awsome power to my batts. with the step charging

I like mine and the only complaint is the max voltage, it would've been a do-all charger for me if it had done 16-18 cells. PC interface is nice too if it is there?

Does anyone know who actually makes the unit?

Well I think Integy actually makes it, but don't quote me on that. Only reason I say that is Integy has alot of "Duratrax" looking stuff that looks better made and costs more. And also are there any good tutorials that show indepth how to put an EL backlite?

The ICE is a great charger. I love mine. It charges my NICAD, NIHM, and LIPO.

I just got one yesterday, and it seems really nice, but it is my first hobby level charger.

Well this is the second pro level charger that I had and it is the best one I have used, besides the GFX 35 ( borrowed for 2 weeks).

Best way is to read the manual, it is very easy and as soon as you start playing around with it you'll pick it up quickly. You don't want to use my settings, they are unique for generic batts.

One tip is to engage the discharge < charge.

The ICE is a great charger. I love the graphs so you can follow your batteries voltage as you charge and discharge them.

I've had mine for 6 months now and other than a slightly gritty wheel, no problems at all...very good charger :)

The ICE is made by Hobbico, if anyone is interested. I know, because that's where I had to send my defective unit-- upon first power -up on Xmas morning, I was less-than-delighted to see that about half the lines on the LCD were dead or burned out. Could actually only read about 1/3 of the information lines. There's some top-notch QC, right there.

Kinda bitter about having to spend $10 to ship a charger in for service that I just got the day before. Does a helluva job of actually charging, though. Perfect peaks with no falsing on the 4 packs I managed to luck my way into programming.
