I'm ready to graduate from a sport charger (Dynamite's Vision Peak) to the wiz-bang setup! I need some recommendations on power supplies and peak chargers! Thanks!

The most popular setup seems to be the Novak Millennium $140 and the Novak N-Power power supply $110. You can get a different power supply, but if you're going all out, might as well go for the Novak duo.

Dumb question but what do the more expensive charges do that the 50$ ones don't do?

Just get a superbrain, it's good enough and it gets the job done.

More expensive chargers have extra conditioning modes to keep your cells happy, they have better peak detection, they're more adjustable (peak detection threshhold, charge amperage, etc.), and most higher end chargers are nimh friendly.
I know that some cheaper chargers handle nimh cells, but I don't know if I'd trust a cheap nimh charger to charge that $100 battery pack. I think I read the Millennium has something called (transmitter/receiver nimh charging mode) instead of using a temperature probe to detect nimh peaks, which sounds a lot better to me than having to attach a temperature probe to your pack to avoid frying it on a cheap nimh charger.

Dude, another Utahn! Welcome to the forum, bro. You must be a racer if you're going for a whiz-bang charging setup, right? Maybe I'll see you out in Magna.
Regarding chargers, I'd go for anything Novak. The best setup would probably be a Millenium/N-Power combo, but their soon-to-be-released AC/DC Ionic charger might be a good choice as well. The possible problem with the Ionic is that it's not quite as adjustable as a Millenium; it can only charge at 0.5, 1.0, and 3.5 amps (I think those are the numbers), but that's no big deal if that's what you're looking for.

Tekin Power Flex is also a great charger.

Why about the competition electronics Turbo 35 BL and the Rivergate 30 Amp Bulldog Power Suppy?

Hey newwave262 integy already has an AC/DC charger out. It is $70.00 and has a trickle charge,VESC charge,Fuzzy Logic charge, discharge and conditioner. I would go for that. It is called the indi 16x2. It also has 0.5 to 4.5 amperage. It charges both NiCd and NiMh. The indi 16x2 is an all around good charger. It does all the stuff u need. Why go out and by something for $200 while you good get one that does the same stuff for $70?
