before the search nazi's attack LOL, i did a search and nothing. anyway what is a good way to trim around the windows to be painted? i have tried a couple but did not turn out to well, so any advice would be great. thanks

I use an xacto knife on the window masks. Run the blade on an even line about 1/8" -1/4" from the outermost edge of the window mask. Then peel off, and apply your choice of paint.........

thoroughly burnish the edges of the mask with a fingernail. You can also use Respirology's trick of a hair dryer. I think X to the Z has a great idea though. Personally, I don't use the window masks at all because they're very poor quality masking material. I cut my own when using LM. It takes a bit longer, but it's worth it for the lack of headaches.

personally i'm horrible at cutting out the windows using lmf but if it's done correctly it looks best. i like vinyl window masks as long as they're trimmed to sit just inside the mold lines of the windows to be masked. if you have trouble aligning the masks you can spray the lexan with windex so you can manipulate the material accordingly. squeegee or or use a card to remove the bubbles, wash, dry, and you're disco.
