SLOW???? ***!!!! The thing is faster than any radio hut car. The 9 turn is way too much for the Pede and you will have no run time. If you go for a lower turn I wouldnt go below 14 turns. Yes you can put rebuildable motors in the Pede. If I was you id go for a Speed Gems2 14 turn or 17 turn. Just my .02 cents

You mean 2 cents, or .02 dollars. You can use a mech. speed control with any motor, except if you run at low speed, it's real bad.

Will the manuel speed controll handle the 14 turn speed gems?thanxx

That manual speed control Traxxas claims can handle over 17 turns. I wouldn't put a 14 turn in it. Why don't you get the 13T Garnet, the pink one,it is a good motor.

this is for Throtl Hapie the mec. speed control does not work with any motor. if you use the msc do not go any lower then a 27 turn stock motor.Any lower then that get an esc.

Traxxas tech support told me that their mechanical speed control can handle up to a Trinity Speed Gems Ruby 16 turn triple mod motor. Make sure you gear the truck down though a couple of teeth on the pinion so your motor doesn't overheat.
