Okay decisions decisions.... http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
At Stormer Hobbies, I am trying to pick between: Orion Team 2400 69.99, Orion High Voltage 2400 69.99, Peak Perf. World Spec 79.99, or Fantom's highest price 69.99. I cant find out any info on the qualoty and the numbers on these........... so can I get some feedback on numbers and and the quality and NO straight forward opinions please (i.e. "ORION ROCKS!!!" and thats all)??????

I say go with Peak or Fantom, not the Orion, they discharge at 17 Amps, that is kinda wierd, plus, i believe that when batteries are are discharged at a lower amp rate, they yield better numbers.

I would recomend SMC cells. They are available many places, but I recomend www.superiorhobbies.com (http://www.superiorhobbies.com)

Their 1.12v+ cells will set you back $69. You will be pleased.

SMC also matches Fantom's cells by the way.

SirSpeedy - I think remember you telling me that awhile back..... well since SMC matches Fantoms, I think I'll go with them. Oh and XXXER its a good thing Peak was a good choice, 2 weeks ago I ordered a Peak and its not built yet! Thats why I included Peak in the list above. Thanks yall........ any other feedback is still welcome

Orion couldn't discharge at 17amps. They have lables saying they discharge them at 30 and 20amps. Where did this 17amps come from?

Everybody on this side of the lake, swears by Orion 2400's. If there's really something better, what is it and where can I get it? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

Right now I use Orion (when I can get them) and Tamiya 2400's. The Orions last longer in real time, is there another advantage?
