LOSI LXT RACING ON CARPET??????

I am looking into buying a lxt and i know that it is a stadium truck and i have seen pictures with them with foam tires and it is said they were raced on carpet. WHY WOULD YOU RACE A STADIUM TRUCK ON CARPET???? ive never seen this before. any info on it please reply

well at the track i used to race on people even raced buggies on carpet i gess its just becouse thay didnt have the dert track running that night or somthin :rolleyes:

why on carpet???

usually it's because the landlord won't let the RC club bring a bunch of dirt into the building for a track... so they use carpet because they have to.... but other clubs just do because the surface is less work to keep up with, always consistant, or simply because they prefer that surface...

i'll tell ya.. some of those indoor stadium carpet tracks are the wildest you will ever drive.... get a club together with a bunch of sheets of plywood, and sometimes they build some totally wicked jumps... hard on parts, but some major air time....
