Hey, I want to get a set of those motors that have the longer arm (550 size, I guess it is called).
My problem is that I will not get any if I cannot true them on a lathe. I currently have a Cobra lathe, and I KNOW it is not compatible.
Are there any lathes out there that are adjustable length ? Or at least have to size options ?

THANKS in advance, RC people !

I have the Eagle Racing MOD3/4 lathe (the purple one) which has one adjustable support allowing for different arm lengths. On the standard setup the adjustment is by unscrewing the mount from the base and moving it - but you can order an optional part that allows you to adjust the mount by turning a knob (if that makes sense).
The unit you see here at Eagle Model (http://www.eaglemodel.com/en/cont03/menu03.html) is similar, but it is the older unit. (Not a particularly good picture either). Hope this helps.
