Backing metallic black?

Hey, I have an H2 SUT body for my Pede that I'll be painting eventually. It will be my first paint job so I think I'll go for a single color with a spray can. I think Pactra Metallic Black might look cool, but does it need to be backed with silver or anything? I understand that black doesn't need to be backed, but metallic colors often do. So what do I do with METALLIC black? :confused:

I would back it with black.

Ok, so the metallic black still isn't thick enough to stand alone? I might just get regular black if the metallic black would NEED to be backed to look right.

Yep, back it with regular black, you'll need less paint to get coverage than if you try to do it all with the metallic black.
