Build your own Tb-01?

Since the Tb01 has a graphite chassis, the alumnium shaft, TG10 gear boxs and suspension arms and tamiya shocks and ush, couldnt you just build on out of spear parts? Wouldnt that be cheaper then buying a TB01 and hopping it up? Just askin ialready have a tb01.

SPARE parts from what? A previously built TB01? You could also buy a piece of graphite or fiber glass and cut out/make your own chassis.

Spares refering to the extra partsd bags you can buy for replacements, or other generalized parts that fit many tamiya kits.

yes you could, i've done so with a ta03..built one from used and new parts...BUT , if the parts were all brand new, you lose out a little..its cheaper in a package.
