A guy at our track recommended a Team Cobra lathe w/ diamond bit for mod. motors. What would you recommend and where is the best place to buy on the net? Thanks for your help! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

Cobra by far. Cheap, reliable, proven to be good for a long time.

Hudy is the best! They are reliable, and perform great! In 4 years of RC, and 3 years of slot cars, I have NEVER seen a Hudy lathe for tires OR comm break, or need repairing. They are great. You can order them off their web site (I think you still can), or buy from a retailer. Visit them at www.hudy.net (http://www.hudy.net) They are argueably THE MOST reliable and best performing products ever. www.hudy.net/dbase/dealers/index.html (http://www.hudy.net/dbase/dealers/index.html) for the list of resalers.
