Losi Dirt-Spec tires stink?

Probably becuase they were made out off recycled stuff...

They smell like rancid tuna salad, that is for sure. But Team Losi tried the best for designing and making a tamper-proof tire, they did it, but that smell is the only drawback, from what i understand, it will eventually go away.

Yep, they stink! You'll wear the tires out before the smell goes away.

Can anyone tell me why these tires stink so bad. I'm talking about the odor they emit??
