Novak GTS Pro Sport ESC

Is this a 3 wire esc, or a 4 wire? Does it have that canister shaped external capacitor attached to the outside?

3 wire, has a small 680uf Cap installed similar fasion to the GTX.

Same Size as an XRS, has external heatsink and power cap pre-installed. Uses 14awg wire. Basically it's an entry level racing ESC.

I would think so, unless you want to use a motor below 12turns eventually without upgrading to something different. I picked up one for my Tamiya M03 right after they first came out. It's been working good so far and I don't plan on using anything below a 12turn in that car anyway.

yeah i'll be sticking with a stock motor and maybe one day go to a 19 turn. but i'm never going below 19. 1/12 scale is fast enough.
