What can you put on foam tires to keep them from dry rotting? Im retireing a car to the shelf and I dont want the stock tires to dry rot.

Use what you normally use for traction compound... but be aware that it may eat into the paint or varnish on the shelf. To solve that problem, set the chassis on something tall enough to keep the tires in the air... you can cut a block of wood to the size you need.

Depends on conditions but normally if area stays normal ( no high humidty or damp area) there should not be a problem. First wash them with soap and water (dish washing liquid) to remove any traction compound, allow them to air dry before storing. Depending on how long you may be inactive some guys store them in Pringle cans, Ziplock Bags and those vaccumm food bags.
I used the Rubber Maid plastic storage boxes for all types of items: esc, receivers, tires etc.
