Associated 12L4/3 Questions

Is the associated 12L4 or 12L3 as good as a crc carpet knife? i'm trying to find a good rolling chasis on ebay and it seems there are more associated chasis then crc.

Both are great cars, as are other 1/12th chassis. Personally it's a driver's feel, one particular brand may feel more planted while another may need constant tuning to get the same feel.
The reason there are so many is the ease of building, setup is pretty simple with few adjustments - some have way too many adjustments.
Stormer Hobbies, Irrgang Racing Services and Hyperform sell either the CRC type chassis or upgraded versions of the 12L3 & 4 with the CRC layout.

i'm going with the rc12l4 just because its much easier to find associated parts around where i live and i can pick one up cheap on ebay.
