I am going to buy a T3 Team Kit and i am looking for a good Modified motor, the track i am going to race on is very tight not much staight away, dont really need much top end. Any suggestions?? Also what kind of batteries should i get NiCd 2400's, or NiMh 3000's??? All info will be very helpful... thanks

If you say the track is tight and not much straight away, then maybe you should go with a stock motor, more torque = more acceleration, and if it's a small track, you do not need a high speed.

You should go with stock....a good stock is the p2k it is one of the originals and good the p2k pro is a little better. But if you still want to go with modified then go with the d5. For the batteries go with the ni-cd they are easier ot handle and you dont have to baby sit them. Well the d5 is a prototype but i am pretty for sure it is going to come out. I forgot to mention that.

I've got an Associated T3, and use both the P2k (stock) and a Trinity Speed Gems Ruby (mild Mod 16 turn triple). Depending on the local track conditions I'll run one versus the other.

About the batteries, if you are running a mild modified and/or a stock, then the 3000Nimh is a negative. You'll have less punch and useless runtime left over. The 2000 or the 2400 Nicad's will have the extra first lap punch and plenty of runtime for a 4 minute/5 minute race.
