Hey everyone.

I feel like an ousider. I'm looking through an issue of Radio Control Car Action and I see ads for all these chrome and sliver parts (also in blue and purple).

I see these ads and they have logos like Traxxas, HG, Kyosho.

All the kits I have are Tamiya. Will things like: T-Maxx Silver Shock Bodies, HG Alloy Wheels, and HPI bodies work with my TA03 and TA04 chassis?

What are Tamiya owners to do for Hop-Ups? This board (as well as most of the web) seems to be dominated not only with gas cars, but ones from Kyosho and Team Losi.

Thanks for some help!

there are plenty of hops ups for your cars. You just have a to search a bit. Tamiya makes lots of there own hop ups for their cars. For those I would check your local hobby shop or a place like www.towerhobbies.com (http://www.towerhobbies.com) . some other company's stuff will fit though. the HG alloy wheels will fit tamiyas. all kinds of touring car bodies will fit but some will look funny if the wheel base wasn't made specifically for your car. BTW tamiya makes nice looking alloy shock bodies. check them out.

hope this helps

Thanks for the info. My local hobby shop is a piece of crap. They don't carry much, the only thing they really have lots of are plastic kits. They have a little R/C car a little R/C planes, and a little slot car, no trains, etc.

Towerhobbies doesn't give me enough information and I can't figure out what I actually really need. I would like to go with Tamiya hop-ups, but I had a hard time finding any information on Tamiya Inc.'s English pages. They only list some parts and don't show pictures or descriptions.

I'll continue my search, thanks.
